got a great deal on some cherry cabinets and decided to hang them myself. had to put backing strips on wall because i purchased a cabinet that was 42" long and the others were 30" in height. to offset the backslpash i had to come off an 1 1/4". for my first project i think it came out good. with the help of my 3 boys, who took turns helping me, we were able to hang them in 3 days, after work. there ages are 17,10 and 9 years old. with the help of clamps it worked out great. attached are some pics.i also built my base cabinet from scratch and did the tile work. hope you like it
